Pallet

Also known as: Skid, Shipping Pallet, Wood Pallet

Definition

A pallet is the standard platform for freight shipping. Products are stacked on pallets, wrapped for stability, and moved as a unit by forklifts. Most warehouses and freight carriers are built around pallet handling.
